Karen called Jennifer to inquire about a property in Fishers that she had listed. It was, unfortunately already sold, but the two got to talking. It turned out that Karen had been looking for a while. She and Ed were having a hard time finding something to buy, their lease was about to expire and they did not want to renew it. The agent they had previously been looking with had abandoned them and they were real estate orphans. They were not ignorant to the buying process, nor were their expectations out of line at all. It just seemed like whoever that prior agent was had not made them a priority, and now they were just overwhelmed and running out of time. In an hour, Jennifer had a short list in their email of properties she thought might be interesting. They picked 5 and scheduled a time to see them. It took a couple trips out to find “it,” but a few weeks later they were under contract on the MOST AMAZING house that was a perfect fit for the size, floor plan, condition and budget they needed. And it was located on a park with a big front porch where Ed and Karen will be able to watch their grandchildren play when the weather accommodates. One can actually imagine the rocking chairs on that porch now and the fun they will have. That was an exciting closing for Jennifer, because Ed and Karen were SO delighted with their find and she had grown to love them like her own grandparents.
