190 N MainJennifer inherited this listing when one on her team members left the business.  It was in the Village of Zionsville, Jennifer’s home turf and an easy transition, but it had already been exposed to the market a little too long when she stepped in. The marketing and presentation needed an overhaul to attract new attention.  She walked the home with the sellers…advised some adjustments to the staging…brought in her trusted photographer for a crucial re-shoot…tweaked the price to a more active price range…and rewrote all of the ads for the house.  It worked!  An offer was received in short order, but it failed when the buyer got nervous about buying a historic house, relinquished his earnest money, and walked.  It’s painful, but it happens.  They started over.  Another buyer came along, but this one walked the fence for weeks.  And weeks.  And weeks.  What he didn’t realize is that Jennifer never gives up.  She followed up, answered questions, checked in, “sold” the Village lifestyle, checked in again, invited him to events in town…and BOOM…an offer was finally presented.  It closed, and all were happy.  The new owners are now seen all over the Village, enjoying the lifestyle she had promised, and loving it!

the couple hoped to get into a different school system and bigger
house before he arrived. Alas, their story of sold took some patience.
More patience than any of them expected, as the location of their

many would-be buyers.  They had so many frustrating no-shows and last-minute showing cancellations that Jennifer took to calling every showing agent beforehand to sell the value of going INSIDE and to
heighten consideration for the busy young parents’ feelings, if
nothing else. That effort ultimately worked!  The last prospect who
actually walked in the door bought it in an instant, and boy were they
excited at the closing!  In the end, Jennifer got to see Matt and
Molly move to Cicero (now THAT is another story), but she also got a
reminder that patience and persistence almost always pay.
