Brian had bought his little house in Lebanon with Jennifer some years ago, but life in Lebanon was not as he had expected. The decision to relocate to “the big city” was made, and Jennifer was phoned. She loves to catch up with past clients! And helping them move out and move on is one of her all-time favorite responsibilities. The two determined a strong pricing strategy, prepped the house for showings, and rolled it out to the market. The open house was well-attended, and the feedback was phenomenal. Within a few weeks, an offer was secured, the house was packed, and the keys were handed to Jennifer to handle until closing. As is sometimes the case, there were some last minute headaches, and a few steps to closing were a little hairy, but Jennifer held it together, and they got it closed in early August. Now Brian is living the big life in Chicago with a new job, a new place and a bright future. And Jennifer has another story to tell about the skill required to hold some deals together for her clients.
One of the best things about this home in popular Ulen Countryside is the SUPER back yard! Nice and level, fully privacy fenced, with lush green grass, a comfortable patio and a jungle gym to boot– it’s the space you’ve been looking for to accommodate your pets and children and Sunday afternoon cookouts; but the house is awesome, too, and when you’re indoors, you’ll love the large cozy family room off the kitchen, the plush flooring, updated fixtures, fashionable decor choices and large bedrooms. And you’ll be grateful that the neighbors take pride in their property and respect each other’s views without the penalty of an HOA and annual association dues. Check it out, you’ll love this one!
Matt and Holly each had a house to sell from their single days before they could buy a home together as newlyweds. Jennifer was responsible for the house in Whitestown, another agent was responsible for the house on the south side. Jennifer sold Whitestown first, which meant Matt and Holly would have to choose: move forward and buy in a leap of faith or go into temporary housing until the other house sold. They chose a combination of both, and Jennifer helped them negotiate early possession of their dream house while they jumped through hoops for their loan and worked closer to a sale of the house down south. Moving day came for Matt and Holly. And in the interim, the house down south was sold, too! Matt and Holly are delighted in their new place. And the lesson learned is that faith works.
