SOLD – 60 Village Court, Zionsville

Exterior Front.
SOLD in Irongate!

As a pilot, Chuck moved around a lot.  It was for this reason that he left his home in Zionsville and moved to Wisconsin.  The market was abysmal at that time, and he put a renter in the Zionsville house until the market had recovered.  In 2015, he was referred by his renter to call Jennifer if he wanted to sell the house after they moved out!  Jennifer was delighted to help, of course.  The house was in one of the most popular neighborhoods in town, and the market was looking strong for the new year.  It was, however, a bit of a boring house.  It had fresh carpet and clean paint, but it needed “something.”  So Jennifer took her stash of staging loot to the house on a Sunday afternoon and installed it for a little “softer touch.”  The very week after the shower curtains went up and the potted plants went out, that house was sold.  The inspections were tough, though.  It had been a rental for many years with an absentee landlord who hadn’t been all that attentive.  They got through it after some extensive repair work by Jennifer’s most trusted contractors, and Chuck still made a pretty penny on his left-behind home.  And Jennifer stashed away the staging items for the next house “in need of a woman’s touch,” because she knows a bit of color and a softer presentation go along way in helping a buyer bond with a house enough to write an offer.

JUST SOLD – 775 Sugarbush Drive, Zionsville

GetMedia.ashx-8
SOLD in Zionsville’s beloved Sugarbush neighborhood!

It sure is fun to house hunt when you’re selling in California and buying in Zionsville. Your funds do go a long way, and that makes the prospects exciting! But how to navigate a new market without making a mistake or overspending? “Work with a pro,” Jennifer says, “like Helena did, and then you’ll know you’re buying the right home, at the right price, under the right terms.” Helena had a lot of options when she began her hunt, but the market was moving fast. There was not a lot of time to think about a house before it was snapped up by somebody else. Jennifer guided her toward the neighborhoods she liked, in the school district she wanted, and helped her evaluate the pros and cons of each for size, space and location for her needs. In the end, she selected a renovated, classic home in Sugarbush, in the right school district for her boys and in amazing condition. (Her boys might argue that the zipline in the back yard played into the decision, too!) A fair offer was accepted and the sale closed just a few days after the house in California was sold, and Helena is loving our low cost of living!

SOLD – 1045 Crown Point, Zionsville

1045 Crown Point CirScott & Diane had enjoyed their home in Zionsville’s Colony Woods for several decades, but the time had come for them to downsize and upgrade to easier living. They enlisted Jennifer to help them find a newer ranch with a smaller lot and to sell their family home at a good price. She helped them prep Crown Point for the market, sending in contractors to update the paint and to make a few other minor improvements. Then she set upon the search for the perfect home for the pair of empty-nesters. They found just the right fit in Cobblestone Lakes nearby, and rolled Crown Point to the market. It sold in a matter of days at nearly full list price, and the two transactions were clean and easy. Jennifer guided them through the negotiations on both, helped them streamline their move schedule and managed to avoid the ownership of two homes at the same time. The new family who moved into Crown Point is a perfect addition to the neighborhood!
